To New Beginnings

December 31, 2012

Once we get to Christmas I lose track of time. The festive period seems to fly by and I am once again left on the doorstep to something new… I guess it’s exciting and somewhat frigtening; I think  it’s because I am facing a huge responsibility to fill the coming year with even more positive thoughts, important events, great adventures, goals that are achieved and dreams that come true.

On the 31st of December I usually look back and suddenly decide that I could have done more! Yes, that’s the way I am – never happy. 365 days is a long time, don’t you agree? And even though I do realise that 2012 was quite a busy year, that brought all kinds of experiences and emotions, it feels as if it has disappered in a blink of an eye.

If you have been following our monthly desktops your 2012 could have looked like this:

Anyway, lets not be sad.

I encourage you to raise a glass or two to new beginings – new adventures, new goals and new dreams.

Fill your 2013 to the brim!

Or as Rainer Maria Rilke once said:

“And now we welcome the new year, full of things that have never been.”

P.S. We have a present for our Blog and Twitter friends – you could start your new year with a special Decor-Art calendar.

For a chance to win it, please leave a short message about this give-away on your blog (and let us know that you’ve done so) or retweet our message on Twitter. The winner will be announced on the 6th of January, when we celebrate the feast of Three Kings.
