April & its 2 Desktop Images

April 3, 2013

I thought we did everything right – waited patiently, adjusted our time and didn’t complain too much even about our white Easter… but this winter doesn’t want to give up! It’s still clinging on.

I have sown tomatoes, basil and lots of beautiful flowers, hoping that we will start seeing some warmer weather any day now. Yet I haven’t spent a single hour in the garden this spring, it’s simply too cold! I helplessly look at the calendar (it can’t be telling me fibs, can it?) and then at my seedlings… My windows are turning into hanging gardens of Babylon and there’s nothing I can do…

On a brighter note – April’s going to be very exciting with lots of new topics to discuss, artwork to share, beautiful books to read, stunning photos to tell you stories… Also please don’t forget this is the month for spring cleaning, so I encourage you to get involved into a similar campaign as a clean beach campaign in Australia, which is called Take 3.

The Take 3 message is simple: take three pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or… anywhere and you have made a difference.”

Doable, isn’t it?

Anyway, before I disappear, here are the two desktop images for April. They are very green – to remind us of the awakening Nature and also of eco-friendly solutions.

It’s on it’s way! I too have a backlog of seedlings and plants waiting.
    Beautiful photographs!

Thank you, Patricia. Hope God hears your words about spring being on its way, as I’m starting to doubt this… It’s the 4th of April and it’s snowing over here!
