One Thing Leads to Another

September 26, 2013

I don’t think I have much to say today, so this is going to be a shortish post where everything’s explained in bullet points… You’ll see how one thing let to another.

— — —

– Apples had to be picked. The best ones were impossible to reach. The tree had to be shaken. Falling apples broke some flowers growing underneath the tree.

marigolds1

– Broken marigolds were put in a vase. They were so bright that the whole kitchen lit up. This couldn’t be left just like that, unnoticed.

marigolds2

– Housework stopped, as the shiny tools were taken out. Silent voice, that kept saying “there’s so much to do! don’t be stupid!”, was silenced completely.

marigolds3

– An hour and a half went by extremely quickly (no regrets!).

marigolds4

– Tiny paintings appeared on lots of surfaces.

– The result was almost as bright, as the real marigolds.

P.S. After the magic hour and a half life resumed back to normal. More housework was done… but hopefully something will lead to something else once again. Some time soon? (Fingers crossed!)

very very nice K. I can already see progress being made. The strokes are surer, the whole is cleaner, the intent is clearer. Lovely.

I don’t normally toot my own horn like that, but check out today’s post. 😉

I’d say you have your priorities almost straight….
