Just Playing

October 10, 2013

This is the stuff that I’ve been up to lately – just playing and pretending that I’m a designer! (Hmm… nearly Laura Ashley!)

I was recommended to register on Zazzle, a website that claims to have “technologies that are all about turning your dreams into reality”. I must admit it is very rewarding – you simply upload a few images and then see them being turned into Zazzle’s products. So if you have some secret desire to have a very special and unique mug, mouse pad, iPhone case, T-Shirt or poster, that’s the place where this dream could come true.

I might have gone a bit mad with the pillows… at the moment I’m stuck on “designing” throw pillows for every imaginable interior… (Which would you choose?)

I have opened up a Zazzle shop (sounds posh, doesn’t it?) and of course you’re welcome to visit – please click here. I’m not sure how long this designing phase of mine will last, but at the moment I’m still playing!

N.B. Zazzle offers a lot of discounts, so even if the prices seem too steep, sooner or later you will be able to purchase your dream product with at least 10% off. By the way, at the moment you can get 14,92% off of all orders using the code COLUMBUSSAVE.

I’d like any of these for my house, they look great. I went through a phase where I put all of my photo’s on Insta… something were people could by them as prints. I like that you add your photo’s to all sorts of stuff here. Hmm a cushion with my boyfriend on for when he’s not available hahaa!

I had a fad on designing ties on there, it’s so exciting when you get a “sold” e-mail!

Mostly I love that it costs me nothing only time so if nobody wants to buy anything I haven’t lost anything on manufacturing costs etc.

    Have fun! x

No “sold” e-mails yet… but I’m not losing hope. I guess there’s enough satisfaction in seeing my photos being turned into something else. Your “thing” is ties, mine’s pillows, so lets just have fun!

Thank you once again for the idea. xxx

Great idea! I like all of them 🙂 But maybe I would choose the one with the purple flower or the one with the pink flower. Very nice!

Brilliant choice, Sofia. To be honest with you the bright purple flower (cosmos) pillow is the one that always catches my attention while looking at the whole lot. I think I’d go for the cactus one though, as this is so incompatible – spikes on a pillow!?

The Cactus seems great! Incompatible, but cool 😀

some serious designs – the stone scultpure is one I’d like to lay my head on. Good luck with your zazzle shop – be interested to hear how it goes

Thank you, Laura. This Zazzle shop hasn’t had any customers yet, but there’s always hope… We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

By the way, the stone sculpture you have chosen to lay your head on, is an artifact from the British Museum, so if you ever need a bit of heritage for your cozy home… you know where to find it! (wink)
