On the Road to Happiness

January 6, 2014

After a long break life seems to be getting back to normal.

I still haven’t managed to put away all of the decorations, I guess I’m trying to slow my pace (basically I might even need a holiday after this holiday!). Heaps of new year’s resolutions are screaming – “take action”, but I believe that everything can wait…

By the way, this year my resolutions’ list is full of little changes, that in theory should make me happy, but even they might be unnecessary. If you’re also (just like me) on the road to happiness, you might need something that I found – please read another list below.

6 Things Happy People Never Do:

1. Mind other people’s business.
2. Seek validation of self-worth from others.
3. Rely on other people and external events for happiness.
4. Hold on to resentment.
5. Spend prolonged periods of time in negative environments.
6. Resist the truth.

You can read some more about each of these here.

P.S. Here’s the January desktop image. This winter is way too mild, so I thought you might enjoy a few snowflakes.
