10 Tips for May

May 1, 2014

Another new month!? Well, as we are heading towards summer I guess it’s good news.

Have you got anything planned for May? I’m planning to spend lots of hours in my garden, so you should expect heaps of photographs documenting EVERY little change. I’d also like to go away somewhere I’ve never been before, if only for a long weekend – it’s time to change the surroundings. It’s also time to change some attitudes and habits, and take a few more steps towards self-fulfillment. Below you’ll find some tips; these should be prescribed by soul doctors to all of us , don’t you think?

10 Brilliant Tips for May (or any other month):

Genius gets you nowhere. Execution is everything.

Scare yourself a little bit every day. It will expand your inner map.

Be humble and curious.

Be as useful as you can in as many circumstances as possible.

Always remember those who helped you. Deliver two or three times as much value back.

Learn to really listen.

Don’t take anything personally, ever.

Do things that are uncool. Later on, they usually end up becoming cool anyway.

As soon as you can, buy some art.

Give away your best work for free.

Well, I hope I’ve given you plenty to think about. Now update your desktops and start enjoying sunny days!

Love the top ten – struggling with no 7, whole heartedly agreeing with no 9 but not no 10 ever!!! Good luck with the May gardening 🙂

I like your list, but agree with Claire. I hope to get out gardening, too, and can’t wait. It’s been too chilly and rainy this spring so far.
